This book was a very captivating, clean, easy to read book.
I loved its characters and the plot was good.
I didn't find many dry spots, and it only took me about two days to read. (But that's just me being me)
Wren Evans is a beautiful, complicated, inteligent character. The authors made her seem real to me, which is a very good quality about this book. The entire book is very real. You can see that nobody is perfect, and nobody is above anyone else.
There was a little Reading Group Guide at the back of the book, asking a few questions about each chapter that were good to read through.
After reading this book, I carefully placed it on my bookshelf, and forgot to write a review about it. Aren't I just smart?
It wasn't that I didn't like this book enough, I just simply forgot to do it...So like me :)
Booksneeze.com gave me this book, you can go here to check things out.
Thanks for checking THIS out. Have a great day :)
p.s, request a book to be read (by me!) and I'll read it, and then make a post about some good points about the book.
A Seperate World...
A book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it, or explore an explosive idea without fear it will go off in your face. It is one of the few havens remaining where a man's mind can get both provocation and privacy. ~Edward P. Morgan

"No He Can't" By Kevin McCullough
"My professional life is entangled with that of a man I've never met."
The opening words to the introduction of "No He Can't". I could almost grovel at this authors feet. I knew going into this book that it would be a bit dry. I thought, "It might have a few good points but mostly I want to read about all the evil things Obama has done." (I've never liked this Obama guy.) But when I read what Kevin McCullough uncovered about Obama, it nearly made me sick. All the things that an upright Christian like myself stand for, he's against or has something to say about it. I was astounded at the things I read. Like this paragraph in the introduction;
Obama supported late-term abortions, also properly referred to as partial-birth abortions. But even that was not enough.
When the issue was brought to vote of whether or not unwanted disabled children who had been born despite abortion procedures should be allowed to die from starvations, neglect, and lack of medical care, Barack Obama became the only federally elected officeholder to have ever voted in favor of allowing those children to die.
But I won't give away ALL the good parts. Though in some spots this book was indeed a little dry, I think it might better be suited for adults or someone particularly interested in polictics. Just because I'm not highly educated in that sort of thing, sometimes it's a little over my head. But overall, I really like this book and would reccomend it to someone who wants to learn about all the dirty secrets and underlying lies the government tries to tell us.
I got this book from BookSneeze. It's FREE and you don't have to give any personal information except an email address and name. If you want books for FREE then go there-just write a blog post about it and they let you keep it.
Did I mention it's free?

Hello again!
Hey!
Long time no see, huh?
Well, I've been really busy lately, but I did finish the "Abram's Daughters". A total must-read!! I'm on to "Annie's People" and I really like it. So, some points to look at for the first through third;
1. Is Ben Martin Isaac Hochstetler? In "The Brethren" we were revealed that Ben Martin was adopted when he was four. Isaac was kidnapped when he was four.
2. Did Zeke really do what he says? It's all up in the air by the first of "The Brethren".
3. Will Ben come back for Annie?
4. Will Annie go back to her art?
Now, these are all really good questions, but will they be answered???
Find out in the end!!!
All for now ;)
--Jordyn
P.s, The brand new book from Beverly Lewis is out! The second book in The Rose Trilogy, "The Judgement" is here! What will it bring? Comment if you've read!! And I've heard rumor's of the third, "The Mercy" will be out on September 6, 2011.

The Sacrafice-Beverly Lewis
Hello once again!
I have finished 'The Sacrifice'! A very astounding read!
I was blown away at the thrill of this book!
Ok, some things to think about!
Why do you think Lewis chose that path?
Check back here for more reviews of other books, and I will be soon posting about 'The Prodigal'!

Ok, some things to think about!
- Why did Ida choose Leah to raise her children?
- Smithy Gid, yes or no?
- WHAT?! Hannah and Smithy Gid!? NO WAY! I dont think so! :(
Why do you think Lewis chose that path?
- HAAH! I TOLD you that Jonas didn't marry Sadie!
- Did you feel bad for Sadie just birthing stillborns?
- Are you still mad at Sadie for what she did, throwing away Leah's letters?
- What do you think will become of the next book?

The Betrayal by Beverly Lewis
Hello!
I just finished 'The Betrayal', and I can hardly pull my chin back up.
It was so riveting, that right there when I finished it in the nail salon, I snatched up 'The Sacrafice' and started devouring that as well!
So good to me is our library. I'm sure I'm their biggest customer so to speak. (I as well have the most fines..oops!)
I could scarcely put 'The Betrayal' down after I started it. It was so exciting, but so sad as well.
I will say a few spoiler things in here so be aware :)
1. At the very end, I really started to dislike Sadie. So much.
2. I solely believe that Jonas Mast is made for Leah. And no, I don't think he married Sadie, though I could be wrong..Dear I hope I'm not!
3. After all that had happened, yes, I like Gid Peachey, no, he's not supposed to be Leah's husband.
Some things to look for in the next book;
So all in all I can't read fast enough! I'm flying through these books, but when I come to the end...
I need to read my other books that I got at the library, but nothing can hold my attention so good as these!

Some things to look for in the next book;
- Did Sadie's baby live? In all of 'The Betrayal', it never goes to Dr. Schwartz view again, so it's quite vauge as to what happens.
- Mary Ruth works at the Nolts place, they have a new adopted baby, could it be?
- Do you think Sadie is to blame for the outcome of the ending of this book? Why?
- What about Smithy Gid, you like him don't you? Is he good enough for Leah to wed?
- Is Jonas Mast mature enough to marry Leah?
- By reading the end of this book, do you think Sadie and Jonas married?
So all in all I can't read fast enough! I'm flying through these books, but when I come to the end...

Abrams Daughters Bk1, The Covenant-Beverly Lewis
Another wonderful book! I really liked this one.
Leah was a beautiful character, Lewis showed her beauty, strength and heart very well in this book.
Her blossoming from the tomboy she used to be into the young woman she is now was depicted very well. Leah loves one, but is loved by two, now what to do? You almost feel bad for the boy who loves her without saying anything.
Personally, I'm still at a loss for who I liked better, Smithy Gid or Jonas Mast.
Ach! It's so confusing! :)
The only bad part I could pick out of this was the beginning. I almost didn't read this one because the first five chapters still felt like an intro. Maybe it was. She described everything in very minute details, which at times was annoying, but once you get into the heart of the story, ya can't put it down!!
I always enjoy Lewis' way of incorporating the Pennsylvania dutch into it as well, such as wonderful-gut, ferhoodled, and so on. I know I've certainly picked up using these words since I read her books.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the Abrams Daughters series, The Betrayal, which you most certainly will be hearing a review from that one as well :)
I haven't finished my other books, "The golden filly" series because I couldn't put down The Covenant. Should I feel bad about that? I'm uncertain at this point.
Either way, comment below and lemme know!
